These pendant have a 30-38mm cut polished half of a Madagascan Ammonite. The detail of the ammonite is very well preserved, The internal features are beautiful and the surface highly polished.

These pendants are unusual in that the ammonite is NOT drilled, but lovingly caressed by the silver as it holds the ammonite firmly in place.

This pendant is made from an oval 18mm x 13mm South African Carnellian cabachon.
This is almost the last of my stock and I have been unable to find material of the same quality.
So this is a one-of-a-kind piece.
It has a filigree bail that will take a chain up to 3mm diameter. The carnellian is a beautiful rich translucent reddish brown colour with interesting and delicate internal features.
The setting is drawn over the stone to give it additional form and depth, reflecting the structures in the stone.
